Kotbi is a Moroccan multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges traditional crafts and contemporary art. This photograph features a crown made from Moroccan teapots. Normally objects of service and hospitality, the teapots are transformed into a symbol of royalty and identity when placed on the model’s head. Created in close collaboration with local artisans, the crown embodies a living heritage, connecting past and present. Through this work, Kotbi highlights the generosity, warmth, and sense of community that define Moroccan culture, turning everyday objects into meaningful symbols of tradition and identity.
